John J. Gilmore, 85, of Maplesville died Saturday, June 27, 2015 at his residence. He was born on Thursday, November 7, 1929 in Covington Co., AL, Son of the late Beatt Gilmore and the late Mattie Lou Neice Gilmore. Surviving are his Wife, Lois Gilmore of Maplesville, AL; Daughters, Cynthia (Kenneth) Fuller of Maplesville, AL, Patricia (Steve) Patterson of Briarfield, AL; 5 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, James Gilmore of Phenix City, AL, Devon Gilmore of Phenix City, AL; Sister, Josephine Gilmore of Alexander City, AL. Friends will be received from 6-8, Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Martin Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Thursday, July 2, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel #2 Cemetery, Maplesville, AL, with Rev. Chad Foshee and Rev. Kenneth Fuller officiating.
