John Virgil Glenn, 87, of Maplesville died Wednesday, May 13, 2015. He was born on Saturday, September 3, 1927 in Alabama, Son of the late William Franklin Glenn and the late Delonie B. Stroud Glenn. He was a Salesman. Surviving are Daughters, Judy Calfee of Maplesville, AL, Brenda (Jackie) Foshee of Fleming Island, FL, Sheila (Cliff) Bryant of Thorsby, AL; Sons, Johnnie (Carolyn) Glenn of Alabaster, AL, Ricky (Virginia) Glenn of Dothan, AL, Kenneth (Janet) Glenn of Glenford, OH, Cecil Glenn of Maplesville, AL; Brother, Thomas Virdie (Doris) Glenn of Jemison, AL; Sister-in-Law, Debra Glenn of Clanton, AL; 19 Grandchildren, 41 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Sara N. Glenn, Son, Barry Glenn, Parents, Willie & Delonie Glenn, Brothers, Oliver, Otis & Arnold Glenn. Sisters, Elsie Jones, Lera Jones, Delene Todd and Son-in-Law, Rickie Calfee. Friends will be received from 10-11, Saturday, May 16, 2015 @ Mulberry Baptist Church. Services will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 11:00 A. M. at Mulberry Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Mims and Rev. David Bishop officiating.
