John H. Marcus, 71, of Auburn died Friday, November 8, 2013. He was born on Friday, February 6, 1942 in Alabama, Son of the late Henry Wilbert Marcus and the late Lota Mae Hayes Marcus. He was a Lawyer. Surviving are Wife, Cindy Marcus of Auburn, AL; Son, Bert Marcus, California; Daughter, Jennifer (Jake) Dorman, Michigan; Grandson, Jake Dorman, Michigan; Granddaughter, Jodie Dorman of Thorsby, AL; Sister-in-Law, Peggy Marcus of Thorsby, AL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Henry W. & Lota Mae Marcus and Brother, Glenn Hayes Marcus. Friends will be received from 12:30-1:30, Tuesday, November 12, 2013 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at 2:00 P.M. at Thorsby Memorial with Rev. Marc Hodges officiating. Martin Funeral Home directing.
