He was born on Tuesday, December 5, 1922 in Jefferson Co., AL, Son of the late Hugh Hamilton and the late Lillie Hendricks Hamilton. He retired with U.S. Steel as a Locomotive Maintainer. Surviving are his Wife, Amanda Hamilton of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Constance Hamby of Clanton, AL; Son, John Hamilton, Jr. of Jay, FL; 8 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren.
