He was born on Saturday, August 14, 1937 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Gurvis Jones and the late Gladys McGinney Jones. He was a Millwright. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Ruby V. Jones of Clanton, AL; 2 Sons, Mr. Donald Jones of Clanton, AL, Mr. John (Ladean) Jones of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Mrs. Janice (Wayne) Wyatt of Clanton, AL; 2 Brothers, Mr. Billy (Gayla) Jones of Shelby, AL, Mr. Robert (Lois) Jones of Clanton, AL; 2 Sisters, Mrs. Martha (Gene) Easterling of Pelham, AL, Mrs. Louise (David) Puckett of Pelham, AL; 9 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren. Friends will be received from 5-8, Monday, September 13, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at 10:30 A.M.. at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev.
