John W. Peewee Kelley

John "PeeWee" W. Kelley, 75, of Maplesville died Wednesday, October 4, 2017. He was born on Monday, December 8, 1941 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Elmer Doyle Kelley and the late Lena Mae Popwell Kelley. John had a love for agriculture and loved his life on the farm. His happiest days were spent on a tractor or in the field with his cattle. In his lifetime, PeeWee was a longtime member of the Chilton County Cattlemen's Association where he served as President for 5 years. He was also on the board of directors for the Cattlemen's Associations as well as the Chilton County "Farmer of the Year". Surviving are Wife, Pam Kelley; Sons, Lee (Donna) Staggs, Jason (Carrie) Staggs; Grandchildren, Hunter (Anna) Staggs, Reece Staggs, Tanner Staggs, Claire Staggs; Great-Grandchild, Jaeden Staggs; Aunt, Catherine Connell; Sister-in-Law, Teddie Parker "Sissy". He was preceded in death by his Parents, Elmer Doyle & Mae Popwell Kelley, Grandparents, Walter & Roberta Popwell.
