John Allen Mims, 56, of Clanton died Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at his residence. He was born on Monday, June 5, 1961 in Alabama, Son of the late Ermon Mims and the late Wilda Smith Mims. He was a Mechanic. Surviving are Son, John A. Mims, Jr.; Daughter, Lynn Mims; Granddaughter, Miranda Mims; Grandson, William Shaver; Sisters, Sherry Dennis, Eva Mims, Rebecca Rhodes, all of Clanton, AL. Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev.
