John Millard Parrish

John Millard Parrish, 81, of Clanton, Alabama passed away December 18, 2024, at his residence.

He was born May 8, 1943, in Florida, son of the late Millard Parrish and the late Mina Parrish.

He was a Homebuilder. He loved his family, enjoyed riding on his John Deere Tractor and loved the Florida Gators football. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Surviving are his Wife, Joan Jones Parrish; Son, David (LeAnn) Parrish; Daughters, DeeDee (John Kienle) Parrish, Denise (Anthony) Connell; Grandsons, Joey (Dana) Kienle, Brent (Ana) Stoll, Tanner Parrish; Granddaughters, Avery Connell, Peyton Browning; Sister, Betty Davis, A host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Millard F. Parrish; Mother, Mina Parrish; Sisters, Helen, Shirley, Jackie, and Nancy.

Friends will be received Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Smith and Bro. Derrick Deavers officiating.

Interment will follow in Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Alabama with Military Honors.
