John Carey Pruett, 70, of Verbena died Thursday, April 28, 2011. He was born on Monday, January 6, 1941 in Montgomery, AL, Son of the late Guerry W. Pruett and the late Eugenia Harper Pruett. He was a Civil Engineer. Surviving are his Wife, Genie Pruett of Verbena, AL; 2 Daughters, Dorothy Pruett Wagner of Freeland, MD, Cathryn Pruett Maulden of Montgomery, AL; Brother, Thaddeus Harper Pruett of Montgomery, AL; 4 Grandchildren, Jere-Ann Wagner, Robert Collin Wagner, Julia Harper Wagner, Morgan Elizabeth Maulden. Also, survived by beloved friends on Lake Mitchell. A private memorial service to be held at a later date. Martin Funeral Home directing.
