John William Roseberry, 76, of Selma, Alabama passed away January 21, 2026, at UAB in Birmingham, AL.
He was born July 9, 1949, in Alabama, son of the late Ollie Clyde Roseberry and the late Vonzel Hayes Roseberry.
He was a retired Postal Carrier. He was a long term follower of Christ, and member who served at Elkdale Baptist Church in Selma. He loved Christ's creation including animals and plants, especially wild huckleberries. As long as he could, he loved being outdoors and fishing, especially hidden creeks. He loved to find a deal or a treasure, and was happiest when he could find someone to share it with. He loved his family. He is now home with his Lord so he is happy and he will be missed.
Surviving are his Brothers, Jerry Roseberry, Kenneth Roseberry, James Roseberry; Nieces, Jacinda (David) Kirkland, Vanessa (Greg) Givens, Delana Wilson, Felicia (Stefan) McDonald; Nephews, Don (Wendy) Roseberry, Tim Roseberry.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Ollie Clyde Roseberry; Mother, Vonzel Hayes Roseberry.
Friends will be received Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with JB Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Antioch Methodist Cemetery , Maplesville, Alabama.
