John Wayne Veazey, 74, of Clanton died Wednesday, October 11, 2017. He was born on Thursday, October 15, 1942 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late John Wiley Veazey and the late Clara Oates Veazey. He was a Warehouse Manager. Surviving are Companion, Tracy Blankenship; Daughters, Susan Alexander, Whitney Ray; Sons, Greg Veazey, Paul Blankenship; Grandchildren, Noah & Cole Godwin, Justin & Kayla Veazey; Sister, Barbara Dausel. He was preceded in death by his Son, Danny Veazey. Friends will be received from 5-7, Friday, October 13, 2017 @ Martin Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Tommy Smothers officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
