John William WELDON, 64, of Clanton died Saturday, January 3, 2009 at his residence. He was born on Monday, August 14, 1944 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late Robert William Weldon and the late Allee Weldon. He was a Mechanic. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Minnie E. Weldon of Clanton, AL; Son, Mr. Tim (Marchell) Weldon of Clanton, AL; Step-daughter, Mrs. Deborah (Wade) Dale of Clanton, AL; Step-son, Mr. Charles Robinson of Clanton, AL; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; Brother, Mr. Robert Douglas Weldon of Clanton, AL. He was preceded in death by his Step-daughter, Ms. Teresa Hamilton. Friends will be received from 5-8, Monday, January 5, 2009. Services will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at 11:00 AM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Lime Springs Methodist, Clanton, AL Martin Funeral Home directing.
