John W. Williams, 82, of Jemison died Friday, April 22, 2016 at Tuskegee VA Medical Center, Tuskegee. He was born on Saturday, February 10, 1934 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Robert Allen Williams, Sr. and the late Rosa Lee Chambers Williams. He was Retired from the Air Force. Surviving are Wife, Mrs. Wilma Sue Williams of Jemison, AL; Daughters, Mrs. Cindy Smitherman of Clanton, AL, Mrs. Lyn (Fred) Cox of Fort Payne, AL; Son, Robby (Darlene) Williams of Jemison, AL; Grandchildren, Kelly (Donna) Smitherman, Leslie (Chaney) Wells, Kip (Carla) Benson, Melanie Benson, Lori Rickerd, Jennifer (Mike) Ceravolo, Jessica (Josh) Glass, Aimee (Kyle) Sumerall; 17 Great-Grandchildren; Son-in-Law, Tony Smitherman; Sister, Peggy Powell of Ozark, AL. He was preceded in death by his Son, Randy Williams. Friends will be received from 1-2, Sunday, April 24, 2016 @ Martin Funeral Home.
