Johnnie Sue Doucet

Johnnie Sue Doucet, 84, of Clanton, Alabama passed away April 30, 2022 at her residence in Clanton, Alabama.

She was born May 24, 1937 in Clanton, Alabama, daughter of the late Howard Johnny Melton and the late Mary Cox Melton.

She was a Homemaker & Certified Nursing Assistant.

Surviving are her Daughter, Debra (Jerry) Ward; Sons, Terry (Charla) Doucet and Jerry Allen (Janice) Doucet; Nine Grandchildren, Numerous Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Ivy Joseph "Jim" Doucet; Daughter, Donna Sue Burnett; Father, Howard Melton; Mother, Mary Cox Melton; Sister, Joann Melton Jackson.

Friends will be received Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at West End Baptist Church.

Services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at West End Baptist Church with Rev. James Watkins and Rev. Eddie Lightsey officiating.

Interment will follow in Alabama National Cemetery at 1:15 p.m., Montevallo, Alabama.
