Johnnie Mae Mathis, 93, of Thorsby, Alabama passed away July 1, 2021 at her Home in Thorsby, Alabama. She was born October 7, 1927 in Atlanta, Georgia, daughter of the late John Williams and the late Ida Catherine Williams. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Sons, Western Milton (Rebecca) Smithwick, Gerald Lester Smithwick and Johnny Leon (Karen) Smithwick; Grandchildren, Rosa Lee Smith, Timothy Milton Smithwick, Shannon Smithwick, Angie Heinlein, Johnny Smithwick, Jr. and Jennifer Bryant, and a host of Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Western Milton Smithwick Sr., Daugther, Patricia Diane Smithwick, Father, John Thomas Williams, Mother, Ida Catherine Williams. Services will be held , July 6, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Sunrise Cemetery with Western Milton and Timothy Smithwick, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery, Douglasville, Georgia.
