Johnnie Luther Scott, 86, of Thorsby died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Wednesday, June 15, 1927 in Alabama, Son of the late John Robert Scott and the late Laura Hayes Scott. He was a Carpenter/Painter. Surviving are Daughters, Rebecca Scott Hayes of Clanton, AL, Kimberly Joy Scott of Vancouver, WA; Son, Johnny Keith Scott of Jacksonville, FL; Granddaughter, Hollie Hayes Chestnut of Calera, AL; Grandson, Noah Byram Scott of Vancouver, WA; 2 Great-Granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his Parents, John Robert & Laura Scott, Brothers, Ruben, Vernon, Ira, Marvin & Arthur Scott. Friends will be received from 10-11, Saturday, April 5, 2014 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony D.
