Johnny Wayne Bowman, 73, of Clanton died Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Thursday, September 20, 1945 in Alabama, Son of the late Rufus E. Bowman and the late Louise Barber Bowman. He was a Preacher/Paramedic. Surviving are Wife, Janice Bowman; Son, Matt (Brigette) Bowman; Daughters, Kelly (Erick) Smitherman, Stephanie (Chris) Brown; Granddaughters, Braylee & Bria Duren, Karmyn & Kayton Smitherman, Cambree Bowman, Anniston Taylor, Leah Wallace; Grandsons, Ethan Taylor, Lance Brown; Brothers, Ronnie (Shirley) Bowman, Tim (Vanessa) Bowman; Sisters, Linda (Tommy) Reaves, Beverley (Buddy) Barnette, Regenia (Sandy) Carlin; A Host of other Family. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Rufus & Louise Bowman and Infant Son, John Mark Bowman. Friends will be received from 1-3, Sunday, August 25, 2019 @ Providence #2. Services will be held Sunday, August 25, 2019, at 3:00 P.M. at Providence Baptist #2 with Rev. Glenn Bonds officiating. Interment will follow in Providence #2 Baptist Cemetery, .
