Johnny James Mims

Johnny James Mims, 84, of Clanton, Alabama passed away July 29, 2023.

He was born July 19, 1939, in Alabama, son of William Mims and Rosa Mims.

Johnny was a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather.

He was a life-long member of Temple Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are his Son, Allen (Rose) Mims, Son, Dennis (Tracy) Mims, Son, Jon (Wendy) Mims, Grandson, Matthew Mims, Granddaughter, Emily Burnett, Granddaughter , Karleigh Smith, Granddaughter, Ashley (David) Askew, Grandson, Sam Mims, Granddaughter, Dorothy Mims, Granddaughter, Anna Mims, 6 Great Grandchildren, Brother, Lloyd Mims, Special Friend, Paula Mims.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Jeanette Little Mims, Father, William Perry Mims, Mother, Rosa Cleckler Mims, Brother, Richard Mims, Great-Grandson, Riley Mims

Friends will be received Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Temple Assembly of God Church.

Services will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Temple Assembly of God Church with Bro. Royce Ellison officiating.

Interment will follow in Temple Assembly of God Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
