Jose Demetrio Garavito Zambrano 60, of Clanton, Alabama passed away July 11, 2026, in Birmingham, AL.

He was born December 22, 1965, in Mexico, son of the late Estanislao Zambrano Mendoza and the late Enedina Garavito.

He was a devoted family man who loved and cherished his family above all else. He took great pride in providing for those he loved and was known for his unwavering work ethic, never shying away from hard work. Whether on the job or at home, he gave his very best in everything he did. In his spare time, he found his greatest joy outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Those who knew him will remember his dedication, strength, and the deep love he had for his family, leaving behind memories that will be treasured for generations.

Surviving are his Daughters, Maria Cecelia Love, Jennifer Zambrano, Selena Zambrano, Jessica Zambrano; Sons, Danny Zambrano, Caleb Zambrano; Grandchildren, Elle Grace, Mariah, Eli, Abel, Jason, Noah, A.J.; Sisters, Maria Zambrano Garavito, Lourdes Zambrano Gavavito, Carmen Zambrano Esperanza, Rosa Zambrano Garavito; Brother, Laureano Zambrano.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Estanislao Zambrano Mendoza, Mother, Enedina Garavito.

Friends will be received Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
