Joseph Boyd Jones, 88, of Maplesville died Wednesday, August 12, 2015. He was born on Tuesday, March 15, 1927 in Alabama, Son of the late Odis D. Jones and the late Ara Hall Jones. He was a U.S. Merchant Marine. Surviving are Wife, Virginia F. Jones; Sons, Tyree Jones, Tony Jones, James (Valerie) Jones, Syd (Terry) Jones; Daughter, Nancy (William) Schwab; Stepson, Sonny (Carla) Moss; Stepdaughter, Kim (Doug) Moss Hodge; Grandchildren, Maverick (Deni) Jones, Zackary (Erica) Jones, Kade Jones, Brodie Jones, Rylee Holland, Jay (Kelley) Luttrull; 2 Great-Grandchildren, 6 Step-Grandchildren; Sisters, Myrtis Webb, Paula (Tommy) Bruce. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Odis D. & Ara Jones, Daughter, Debra Holland, Son, Vincent Jones, Brother, Bobby Jones and Stepson, Gary Moss.
