Joseph "Joey" Andrew Nelson, 66, of Clanton, Alabama passed away July 5, 2024.
He was born December 19, 1957, in Alabama, son of Andrew Nelson and Rosie Bell Nelson.
He was a Fire Captain.
Surviving are his Daughter, Denae Roberson; Son, Jared (Emily) Nelson; Grandson, Carson Roberson; Granddaughters, Bailee Roberson, Caleigh Sanders, Emma Nelson; a host of family and friends; Sisters, Judy (Dale) Lett, Geneva Cleckler.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Lisa Nelson; Father, Andrew Nelson; Mother, Rosie Bell Nelson; Sisters, Jeanette Hay, Ruthie Lett.
Friends will be received Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Jeremy Davis officiating.
