Juanita C. Childress, 90, of Clanton died Thursday, January 4, 2018. She was born on Wednesday, January 12, 1927 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late A.Z. Campbell and the late Mary Lowery Campbell. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are Son, Jim A (Carol) Childress of Clanton, AL; Daughters, Lorene C. Tennant of Clanton, AL, Faye C. (Douglas) Collins of Thorsby, AL, Marilyn C. (Edward) Cleckler of Thorsby, AL; A Number of Grandchildren, A Number of Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Horace Childress. Friends will be received from 1-2, Saturday, January 6, 2018 @ Mt. Carmel Baptist #1. Services will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Carmel Baptist #1 with Mr. Chris Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel #1 Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing. www.martinfuneralhomeinc.com
