She was born October 29, 1937 in Chilton County, Alabama, daughter of the late Cliart Patterson and Mamie Lee Morris Patterson. She was a Librarian. Surviving are her Daughter, Cynthia Payton Pate; Daughter, Cheryl (Dr. Frank) Crisona, Jr.; Grandson, Kevin Pate; Granddaughter, Laura Pate; Grandson, Dr. Frank Crisona, III. She was preceded in death by Her Mother, Mamie Lee Morris Patterson; Father, Cliart Howell Patterson; Husband, Charles R Payton. A private family graveside service will be held, March 27, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Chestnut Creek Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Payton officiating. Martin Funeral Home directing.
