Julius H. DUKE, 82, of Clanton died Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Saturday, July 2, 1927 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late G. Benjamin Duke and the late Teula Bell Murphy Duke. He was a Meat Packer. Surviving are his Son, Kermitt Duke of Clanton, AL; 2 Daughters, Jeaneatta Easterling of Katy, TX, Teresa Ann Peek of Stevensville, AL; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, A host of nieces & nephews; Sister, Cenie Bell Thornton of Pheonix City, AL. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Nell Mims Duke and Wife, Loree Esco Duke. Friends will be received from 1:00-2:30 PM, Sunday, October 4, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home . Graveside services will be held Sunday, October 4, 2009, at 3:00 PM. at Bethel Primitive Baptist with Rev. Greg Jones officiating. Martin Funeral Home directing.
