Karen Mae Sparks, 41, of Clanton died Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Chilton Medical Center, Clanton. She was born on Sunday, September 21, 1969 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Charles Wayne Cleckler and Catherine Mae Headley Cleckler. She was a Supervisor at KMA. Surviving are Husband, Mr. James Sparks of Clanton, AL; 4 Daughters, Mrs. Nicole (Allen) Campbell of Clanton, AL, Mrs. Kacy (Dewayne) Brown of Clanton, AL, Miss Shannon Sparks of Tallahassee, FL, Miss Brianna Sparks of Clanton, AL; Son, Mr. Cameron Sparks of Clanton, AL; Granddaughters, Jasmine, Maylee, Gracie & Kaylin Campbell, Keylie & Callie Brown; Grandson, Traie Brown; Mother, Mrs. Cathy Cleckler; 2 Brothers, Mr. David Cleckler, Mr. John Burton; Sister, Ms. Alissa Burton Giles. She was preceded in death by a grandson, James Michael Cobb. Friends will be received from 5-8, Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at 2:00 pm. at Cedar Grove Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Mims officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Methodist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
