Kathleen J. Watkins

Kathleen Josephine Watkins, 87, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away July 28, 2022.

She was born March 2, 1935 in Thacker, West Virginia. The daughter of the late Sherman Scarberry and the late Ollie Scarberry.

She retired from Accounting, later becoming a Homemaker.

Surviving are her Son, Donald  Watkins; Daughter, Debra (Thomas H.) Brown; Son, James A. (Terri) Ramey; Numerous Grandchildren and Great- Grandchildren; and a host of  Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Son, David Michael Watkins; Father, Sherman Scarberry; Mother, Ollie Scarberry; Brothers, Sherman Scarberry, Jr., Roland Scarberry, Herman Scarberry, Olin Scarberry and Cornelius Scarberry; Sister, Opal Scarberry.

Friends will be received Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Cemetery, Montevallo, Alabama.
