Kathryn Mcclain Collins

Kathryn McClain Collins, 99, of Thorsby, Alabama passed away January 7, 2025, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton, AL.

She was born October 12, 1925, in Alabama, daughter of the late Chester McClain and the late Kathryn Buckner McClain..

She was a graduate of Thorsby Institute and began her career as a Bookkeeper for a family business.

Surviving are her Daughters, Trudy Collins Strain, Lydia (Joe) Labetti; Son, Randall (Rhonda) Collins; Grandsons, Jason (Jaymi) Strain, Nathan (Meredith) Collins,  Joseph (Courtney) Labetti, Granddaughters, Nikki Strain, Leigh Ann Strain, Jill Labetti; Great-Grandchildren, Sarah, Alyssa, Clea, Henry and Oliver, A host of other Family.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Bill Collins; Father, Chester McClain; Mother, Kathryn McClain; Brother, Chester McClain, Jr..

Friends will be received Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marc Hodges officiating.

Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Chilton County Humane Society or charity or your choice.
