Kathy Louise Cole, 65, of Shelby, Alabama passed away July 22, 2020 at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born June 20, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois, and was the daughter to the late Bobby Smith and Retha Parmer. She was a Registered Nurse, and spent her career caring for others. Surviving are her Husband, Terry Cole; Daughters, Janie Loyd Hoffman and Tracey (Mike) Mitchell; Son, Charlie (Jessica) Loyd, Jr.; Grandson, Bo Hoffman, Austin Loyd, Charlie Loyd, III, and Donnie Hoffman; Granddaughters, Haley Mitchell, Jennifer Loyd Gigandet, Kayla Mitchell, and Bella Mitchell; Great-Grandsons, Grayson Hoffman, Spencer Gigandet, and Hudson Mitchell; Great-Granddaughter, Piper Hoffman. She was preceded in death by her Father, Bobby Smith and Mother, Retha Parmer. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Spring Creek Cemetery in Shelby, Alabama with Charlie Olan Loyd, Sr. officiating. Martin Funeral Home directing.
