Kathy Ann Waites, 63, of Clanton died Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Chilton Medical Center, Clanton. She was born on Saturday, September 24, 1949 in Georgia, Daughter of the late O.D. Howell and the late Opal Brown Howell. She was a Director of Housing Authority. Surviving are herHusband, Billy "Chopper" Waites of Clanton, AL; Sister, Barbara Miller of Clanton, AL; Nephew, Alan Miller of Clanton, AL; Great Nephew, Bailey Miller of Clanton, AL. Friends will be received from 5-8, Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Chapel Cemetery, Clanton, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
