Katie M. Rhodes, 86, of Clanton died Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. She was born on Sunday, January 20, 1924 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late William Thomas Carter and the late Lessie Mae King Carter. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her 2 Daughters, Shirley Vines, Faye Smith; Sister, Margie Rhodes; 2 Brothers, Clyde "Ham" Carter, Gordon Carter; Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, George Rhodes;Sons, Herbert Rhodes and Delton Rhodes and Daughter, Lessie Mae Rhodes. Friends will be received from 12-1, Saturday, September 4, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, September 4, 2010, at 1:00 P.M.. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roland Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Maplesville, AL.
