Katie Helen Smith, 88, of Verbena, Alabama passed away March 5, 2022 at St.Vincents Chilton, Clanton, AL.

She was born December 16, 1933 in Smith County, Mississippi, daughter of the Late Duncan McNair and the late Rosetta McNair.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her Daughters, Debbie (Billy) Ward, Kim (Keith) Moore; Son, Frankie (Carol ) Smith; Daughter-in-law, Peggy Smith; 9 Grandchildren; 20 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Charlie F. Smith; Son, Mike Smith; Father, Duncan McNair; Mother, Rosetta McNair.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Primitive Baptist Cemetery with her grandson Andy Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Bethel Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
