Kendal W. "Boonie" Mims, 72, of Clanton died Monday, August 20, 2018 at St. Vincent's Chilton, Clanton. He was born on Thursday, June 6, 1946 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Kenneth O. Mims and the late Clara Nell Davis Mims. He was a Salesman. Surviving are Daughters, Kendra Hayes, Tedra Mims; Grandsons, Kendal (Deborah) Payton, Kole Scully-Mims; Granddaughter, Kaylan Scully-Mims; Great-Granddaughters, Riley Payton, Aaleyah Chapman; Brothers, Kenneth Mims, Keith (Tack) Mims, Kelly D. Mims. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Faye Mims. Friends will be received from 12-2, Wednesday, August 22, 2018 @ Martin Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Evie Megginson
