Kenneth "Kenny" H. Bates, 59, of Clanton died Wednesday, December 11, 2013. He was born on Thursday, October 14, 1954 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Jeff Bates and the late Louise Riggins Bates. He was a Fleet Specialist. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Angela T. Bates; Daughters, Ms. Brooke Bates, Mrs. Hollie (Kenny) Connell; Expecting 1st Granddaughter; A Number of Nieces & Nephews; Brother, Mr. Terry Bates; all of Clanton, AL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Jeff & Louise Bates; Brother, Tom Frank Bates. Friends will be received from 5-7, Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, December 13, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Lime Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Glenn Bonds and Rev. Jim Shannon officiating.
