Lamar J. Cost, 85, of Clanton died Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Hope Memory Care, Dacula, GA. He was born on Thursday, September 4, 1930 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late O.V. Cost and the late Carrie Mae Rutherford Cost. He was a Teacher. Surviving are Son, Larry (Tracy) Cost; Grandsons, Zachary Cost, Taylor (Amber) Cost; Brother, Gene (Myrtle) Cost; Sisters, Peggy Marcus, Faye (Raymond) Powell; Host of Nieces & Nephews. Friends will be received from 5-7, Friday, August 12, 2016 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Don Cross officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
