Larry Wayne Busby

Mr. Larry Wayne Busby, age 63, a resident of East Brewton, AL died on Saturday, October 13, 2018. He was born on July 8, 1955 to the late Dorsey Dephenport Busby and the late Jane Hereford Gowey Busby. Larry was an avid hunter and a lifelong Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He loved his family and will be missed. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carolyn Busby of East Brewton, AL; daughter, Dawn Busby (Dewayne) of East Brewton, AL; sons, Derek Busby (Chelsea) of East Brewton, AL and Paul Busby (Jernigan) of East Brewton, AL; grandchildren, Peyton Rowell, Paisley Busby, KyLeigh Busby, Wyatt Busby and Wyleigh Busby; brother, Grady "Ray" (Loucretia) Busby of Repton, AL and sister, Jackie Brown of Brewton; best friend, Dennis Lisenby of Wallace, AL; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Busby and a sister, Billie Jackson. Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 1:00 pm from the Flomaton Pentecostal Holiness Church, 854 Palafox St. Flomaton, AL with Rev. Steve Massengill officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery in Brewton, AL. The family will receive friends from 11 am until 1 pm at the church. Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Lisenby, Dewayne Rowell, Blake Griffin, George Busby, Mickey Busby, Charlie Paul Busby, Mike Ryals, and Robert Ivey. The family request that friends wear there Alabama Crimson Tide attire. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Carolyn Busby and family.
