Larry Van Gore, 76, of Jemison, Alabama passed away September 4, 2021 in Clanton, AL. He was born August 22, 1945 in Chilton Co., Alabama, son of the late Clyde Gore and the late Ruby Gore. He was the owner of the Produce Barn. He was for many years Fire Chief of Collins Chapel Fire Department. Surviving are his Sons, Mark Gore, Perry Gore, Special Companion, Mary Martin; Grandsons, Jenson Gore, Tristin Gore, Grayson Gore, Colton Gore, Cameron Price; Granddaughter, Kara Gore; Sister, Mary Nelson. He was preceded in death by His Parents, Clyde & Ruby Gore; Loving wife of 48 years, Wanda Sue Gore. Friends will be received Monday, September 6, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jason Green officiating. Interment will follow in Collins Chapel Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.
