Larry Lovett, 69, of Jemison died Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Saturday, April 3, 1948 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Dolphus Lovett and the late Leora Roper Lovett. He was an automotive mechanic tech. Surviving are his Brothers, Joey (Cecilia) Lovett of Jemison, AL, Leon Lovett of Clanton, AL, Ricky Lovett of Clanton, AL; Sisters, Shirley (Buddy) Wilson of Clanton, AL, Barbara (Bobby) Smitherman of Clanton, AL; Nephews & Nieces, Great-Nephews & Great-Nieces, Great-Great-Nephews & Great-Great-Nieces. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Dolphus & Leora Lovett; Sister, Sybill Sanders; Brother, Terry Lovett; Brother, Jimmy Lovett; Nephew, Edward Edge. Friends will be received from 5-8, Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Bobby Smitherman officiating. Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
