Larry Wayne Smith

Larry Wayne Smith, 69, of Clanton, Alabama passed away March 19, 2024, at his residence.

He was born June 25, 1954, in Alabama, son of the late Hattie Louise Smith McDonald.

He was a Chilton County Road Department Foreman who loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved family and caring for his dogs and horses.

Surviving are his Wife, Joyce Faye Smith; Daughters, Brandi Smith, Jami Gentry; Son, Adam Smith; Grandchildren, Kacie Belk, Cody Belk, Kane Belk, Karlee Angles, A.J. Smith, Naomi Smith, Kaden Kincaid; Great-Grandchildren, John Luke, Gracie, Emmy; Brothers-in-Law, Ricky Parker, Ray Parker.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Hattie Louise Smith McDonald.

Friends will be received Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Parker officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
