Laura Tubbs Johnson

Laura Tubbs Johnson, 94, of Clanton, Alabama passed away January 1, 2025.

She was born September 20, 1930, in Alabama, daughter of the late Eugene Marsh and Maude Clements Marsh.

She was a Homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Clanton and Senior Connection.

Surviving are her Daughter, Leisa (Robert) Aderholt; Son, William "Bill" (Phyllis) Tubbs; Brother, Alen (Penny) Marsh; Grandchildren, Nathan (Lesley) Tubbs, Stephen (Allison) Tubbs, Rachel (Justin) McGee, Tyler (Kim) Tolbert, Scott Tolbert, Zachary (Holly) Aderholt and Joshua (Cheyanne) Aderholt; 10 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, William Penny Tubbs; Husband, Gordon Johnson; Father, Eugene Sanders Marsh; Mother, Maude Viola Marsh; Daughter, Cynthia Tubbs Tolbert; Brothers, Richard Marsh, Jeff Marsh and Eugene Marsh; Sister, Lois Thompson.

Pallbearers:  Stephen Tubbs, Caleb Tubbs, Zachary Aderholt, Justin McGee, Josh Aderholt and Mike Blair.

Friends will be received Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Tubbs and Rev. Justin Nelson officiating.

Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Greensboro, Alabama.
