Layle Samford, Jr.

Layle Samford, 64, of Clanton, Alabama passed away July 1, 2022 at his residence in Clanton, Alabama.

He was born March 24, 1958 in Alabama, son of the late Layle Samford, Sr. and the late Pernie Samford.

He was a Radio Manager at WKLF.

Surviving are his Niece, Michelle (Rickey) Coker; Brother-In-Law, Kenneth Moates; Nephews, Mark (Lisa) Moates, Jerry Wayne Arledge and William Arledge; Best Friend, Robert King; Special Friends, Marie Spearman and Ken Mims.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Layle Samford, Sr.; Mother, Pernie McCarty Samford; Brother, Jack Morrow; Sisters, Phyllis M. Moates and Pam Ardledge.

Friends will be received Sunday, July 3, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Sunday, July 3, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Royce Ellison and Rev. Jim Shannon officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Springs Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
