L.C. MARTIN, 66, of Jemison died Thursday, November 20, 2008 at his Residence. He was born on Sunday, October 18, 1942 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Albert Jackson Martin and the late Myrtle Addie Gothard. He was a Dairyman. Surviving are his Wife, Mary Martin of Montgomery, AL; 3 Daughters, Diane Herring of Bessemer, AL, Patsy Jones of Jemison, AL, Stephanie Williams of Bessemer, AL; 3 Sons, Bobby Martin of Bessemer, AL, Randall Martin of Bessemer, AL, Jason Martin of Bessemer, AL; 2 Step-Sons, Jerry Ray of Wilton, AL, Steve Gould of Columbiana, AL; 2 Sisters, Marie Avery of Clanton, AL, Jeanette Langston of Jemison, AL; 2 Brothers, M.C. Martin of Jemison, AL.and E.C. Martin of Green Pond AL. He was preceded in death by His Daughter, Crystal Martin Boyd; and Brothers, Marshall Martin and Thomas Martin. Friends will be received One hour prior to the service at the church.. Services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008, at 2:30 PM. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Wilder officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
