Leamon Jefferson Satterwhite, 83, of Clanton died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at his residence in Clanton. He was born on Sunday, June 1, 1930 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late William J. Satterwhite and the late Vera Sammons Satterwhite. He was retired from U.S. Steel. Surviving are Wife, Dorothy N. Satterwhite; Son, Michael (Vivian) L. Satterwhite both of Clanton, AL; Sister-in-Law, Billie Atkinson; Brother-in-Law, Hollins Hilyer. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Thorsby Memorial Cemetery in Thorsby, AL with Mr. Henry Clay officiating. Martin Funeral Home directing.
