She was born on Friday, September 22, 1916 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Spurgeon Williams and the late Myrtle Davenport Williams. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Daughter, Mrs. Jeanene Bean of Thorsby, AL; 2 Sons, Mr. Benny Childress of Gasden, AL, Mr. Jimmy Childress of Thorsby, AL; 10 Grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Mr. Charles A. "Bo" Childress. Friends will be received from 5-8, Friday, March 4, 2011 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
