Lena Marie PARKER, 86, of Thorsby died Friday, September 19, 2008 at her residence. She was born on Wednesday, March 15, 1922 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Marvin C. Jackson and the late Ruth Kate Littleton. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Son, Aaron Parker of Clanton, AL; 2 Daughters, Mary Kate (Harold) Garrison of Thorsby, AL, Elaine (John) Blake of Woodstock, AL; 6 Granddaughters, 2 Grandsons, 15 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, A Host of Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Huey Matthew Parker; Son, Edward Parker; 2 granddaughters; 2 great-grandchildren; Daughter-in-law, Shelby Parker. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008, at 2:00 pm. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Jones and Rev. Buddy Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
