Lera Nell Cordle, 89, of Birmingham died Tuesday, March 26, 2019. She was born on Thursday, March 20, 1930 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Reese Lockhart and the late Era Wyatt Lockhart. She was a Lunchroom Worker. Surviving are Daughter, Gloria Jones (John); Granddaughter, Tania Oswalt (Shannon); Grandsons, Timothy Jones, Nick Cordle (Morgan), Ryan Cordle; Great-Grandchildren, Brittany Wayman (Nick), Bethany Bearden (Andrew), Brooke Isbell (Chris), Emma Grace Cordle, Colby Ryan Cordle, Eva Marie Cordle, Rhylinn David Cordle; Great-Great-Grandchildren, Weston Wayman, Ashton Bearden; Sister, Joann Mullins; Brother, Bill Lockhart (Linda). She was preceded in death by her Husband, Charles Cordle, Son, David Cordle, Parents, Reese & Era Lockhart. Friends will be received from 10-11, Friday, March 29, 2019 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, March 29, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Eddie Lightsey officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
