Leslie Gilbert "Babe" Guy, 71, of Jemison died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Sunday, April 10, 1938 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late Marion Ester Guy and the late Blanche Floyd Guy. He was a Superintendent. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Doris Guy of Jemison, AL; Son, Mr. Greg Guy of Clanton, AL; 2 Granddaughters, Ms. Synna Guy of Jemison, AL, Ms. Shelby Guy of Jemison, AL; 4 Brothers, Mr. Floyd Bennett Guy of Jemison, AL, Mr. Eugene (Ella Nette) Guy of Thorsby, AL, Mr. Don (Gwynda) Guy of Thorsby, AL, Mr. Richard (Euleta) Guy of Jemison, AL; 2 Sisters, Mrs. Joyce (Erskine) Grimes of Montgomery, AL, Mrs. Anne (Jack) Hunter of Montgomery, AL; a number of nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his Daughter, Ms. Terry Guy; Sisters, Doris Allen, Sarah Guy, Marie Shaw and Brother, Jim B. Guy. Friends will be received from 1-2PM, Tuesday, March 16, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 2:00PM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Smitherman officiating. Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, AL Martin Funeral Home directing.
