Lester "Polly" Watley, 99, of Thorsby, Alabama passed away May 23, 2021 at daughter's residence in Jemison, Alabama. She was born June 24, 1921 in Alabama, daughter of the late Jim Robinson and the late Rodann Hubbard Robinson. She was a Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother. Surviving are her Daughters, Carol (Wayne) Thompson and Patricia "Tish" (Glen) Porter; Son, Bobby (Carolyn) Watley; Grandchildren, Ricky (Diane) Scott, Steve (Erika) Scott, Lisa (Allen) Short, Dewayne (Misti) Watley, Brian (Mistie) Watley, Teresa (Allen) Evans, Amanda (Gene) Turner, Angie (Carl) Caudle and Crystal (Jeff) Smith, Nineteen Great-Grandchildren, Twenty-three Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Bernie Watley; Husband, Clyde Sansom; Daughter, Joyce Ann Brooks; Son, Bernie Wayne Watley; Great-Great Grandson, Bryce Dawson; Father, Jim Robinson; Mother, Rodann Hubbard Robinson. Friends will be received Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pates Chapel Baptist Church, Jemison, Alabama. Service will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Pates Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Harlen Harris officiating. Pallbearers: Ricky Scott, Steve Scott, Cody Evans, Ryan Jones, Derek Short, Justin "Bubba" Turner and Jacob Smith. Interment will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.
