She was born on Tuesday, October 13, 1931 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Irvin Madison Baker and the late Mae Alberta Lockhart Baker. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are 2 Daughters, Diane (Mike) Maddox of Clanton, AL, Kay (Jerry) Wilks of Arab, AL; 2 Sons, Gary Payne of Clanton, AL, Donnie (Joan) Walker of Elyria, OH; 7 Grandchildren, Crystal (Tim) Martin, Scott (Bonnie) Maddox, Jessica (Jason) Britt, Vince Wilks, Kim Wilks, Chris Walker, Wendy (Luis) Torres; 15 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Ruth Foshee of Clanton, AL. She was preceded in death by: Husband, Jessie Walker; Sister, Virginia Emfinger; Brothers, Steve & Clyde Baker. Friends will be received from 5-8 Thursday evening at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Friday, September 28, 2012, at 2:00 pm. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cem., Clanton, Alabama.
