She was born August 17, 1939 in Alabama, daughter of the late Jessie Nelson and the late Evelyn Nelson.
She was a Homemaker.
Surviving are her Son, Tony Nelson; Son, Marvin Owens; Grandson, Kevin Nelson; Grandson, Jamie Nelson; Grandson, Derek Nelson; Granddaughter, Tonya Travers; 12 Great Grandchildren; Son, Rodney Owens.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Jessie James Nelson; Mother, Evelyn Gertrude Nelson; Husband, Hampton Lester Owens.
A memorial service will be held Monday, October 24, 2022, at at 1:00 p.m. at The Grove, Jemison, Alabama.
