Lillie Mae SHORT, 96, of Maplesville died Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Friday, January 24, 1913 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late John Kendrick and the late Belinda Keen Kendrick. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Keener of Maplesville, AL; 2 Sons, Mr. Efton Short of Prattville, AL, Mr. John Earl Short of Maplesville, AL; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Mr. Earlo Short and Son, Mr. Winston Short. Friends will be received from 5-8, Monday, January 25, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at 2:00PM. at Sardis Baptist Chruch with Rev. Willard Ratliff, Rev. William Earl Short and Rev. Fred Donovan officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Baptist Cemetery, Maplesville, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
